KATA (A VRChat Short FIlm) (2025)

From SYNC Studios, this is our submission to Furality Somna's Community Showcase of 2025!
This short was a very impromptu film we made that sought to aim for a more creative workaround for the guideline of "excessive violence" by taking a more stylistic approach of using a Kata to do so, reliving the moments of a fight as practice.

KATA was a fun project to work on to see how our process of Low Latency Choreography worked at the time we were researching it. We have created a process that is so ambitious that we have begun to inspire others to learn from us and I'm really happy that we have brought ourselves to a community of people that want to learn and grow in ways they hadn't imagined was possible. Needless to say, the upload of this submission is very much so overdue and we're all happy to showcase more of our work at SYNC Studios!
