UBC's Gabby Yarema won gold in this event after overtaking the front-runner Morgan Rosts from Western Ontario University at the 1450m mark and then relinquishing the lead to Rosts 300 meters later and finally overtaking her again in the LAST HALF-SECOND OF THE RACE !
