Описание: On 14 February 2026, students of Aspen Academy Dehradun went on an enriching Learning Journey to the peaceful and iconic Buddha Temple Dehradun (Mindrolling Monastery).

The Buddha Temple, also known as Mindrolling Monastery, is one of the largest Buddhist centers in India. It is famous for its magnificent Great Stupa, beautiful wall paintings, prayer wheels, peaceful gardens, and its spiritual significance in Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery reflects the teachings of Lord Buddha – peace, compassion, and mindfulness.

During the visit, students explored the temple premises, observed the monks’ lifestyle, and learned about the history and values of Buddhism. Such cultural exposure visits help students:

Develop respect for different cultures and traditions
Build empathy and global awareness
Learn beyond textbooks through real-life experiences
Strengthen observation and reflection skills

Exposure visits play a vital role in holistic education. When students step outside the classroom, learning becomes meaningful, memorable, and experiential.
