Days 6 and 7 of DSAP 2026 marked the final stretch of an unforgettable week in Washington, D.C.
Our Distinguished Student Ambassadors continued engaging with history, civic institutions, and leadership spaces that challenged them to think critically and reflect deeply. From meaningful discussions to powerful site visits, each experience reinforced the importance of service, responsibility, and informed leadership.
As the week came to a close, our scholars not only represented ILTexas with excellence, but they returned home with broadened perspectives, strengthened voices, and a deeper understanding of their role in shaping the future.
This experience is more than a trip. It is an investment in future leaders.
We are incredibly proud of the way our Eagles carried themselves throughout the week.
