You’ll learn how to preview words on free font sites, how to stack and compare options, and apply a reliable skew-and-curve method that preserves letter detail. We cover style families (serif, sans, script, blackletter), common mistakes, and a practical workflow you can use in Photoshop and Procreate.

Then we demonstrate on three projects: a flowing banner script with roses (Fortune Rose), a chrome Old English back piece (Chrome Family), and a gothic calligraphy design shaped like a corset (Dark Loyalty). You’ll see research, font pairing, guideline setup, perspective, Liquify/transform adjustments, overdrawing on paper, and client-ready presentations.
