On 14 April 2025, Courtenay Rattray, Chef de Cabinet to the UN Secretary-General António Guterres, addressed the 4th Permanent Forum on People of African Descent (#PFPAD4) on behalf of Mr. Guterres at UN headquarters in New York.
The session theme was "Africa and people of African descent: United for reparatory justice in the age of Artificial Intelligence."
The Permanent Forum, an advisory body to the Human Rights Council, aims to improve the safety, quality of life, and livelihoods of people of African descent.
