Sophie Hunt and her best friend flew to Turkey for weight loss surgery thinking they’d return home with their dream bodies. Sophie’s sister Aimee warned her against going, but nothing would stop Sophie. After her surgery, Aimee took a call saying she needed to fly over immediately as Sophie had collapsed. Sadly, Sophie passed away 48 hours after the procedure. One year on, Aimee joins us to raise awareness of botched budget surgery so others can avoid the potentially lethal consequences.
