Описание: A common way to genetically engineer plants is to expose cut pieces of tissue cultured plant tissue to Agrobacterium (or biolistics gene gun). A tissue that is often used because it can regenerate plants from the tissue is the first two leaves of a dicot plant that already exist inside the seed and expand upon germination (the cotyledons).
