Documenting an abandoned termite riddled small town train station

Описание: In this video Floyd Bromley and Les (me) travel all the way to the town of
[ I'm not telling you ] to document the termite damaged remains of the [ I'm not telling you ] train station. The railway station is located on a still very much active railway line with a functional passenger service but no train has stopped at the old abandoned train station in many years. Obviously after the station's decommissioning the building was pretty much striped of any railway related items, even the toilet was taken. Although not much remained it was still fascinating to look around the battered ruins of the old signal box to see where the large signal leaver frame would have been to control the points for the once extensive freight yard. Also in the signal box there outlines on the walls of where communications equipment, a yard diagram board, a clock and etc would have been mounted. I also liked how the old window where passengers would have bought there ticket was still in place. Fascinating.
All though in a bit of a state of disrepair I really think the old railway station would make an excellent house especially because of the fact that the train line has been moved back from the platform edge adding a bit more safety from passing trains.
I hope the building is saved one day but for know it still sit's and rots away and the trains continue to thunder past every day.
