sweet as a nut mate !

Описание: This weekend I had the pleasure of having a good old hike out with my good pal Mark (gonzo) ‪@gonzowildcamping‬

We headed to a lovely spot in the far corners of the north Yorkshire moors by a local reservoir

Not knowing the area we had a good walk in the area and off the beaten trail too over some rough terrain searching far and wide for a nice opening in the tightly knit pine forest.

Finding one spot after some deliberation we decided it was a nice spot but slightly too lumpy and damp so we ploughed on towards a trail at the edge of the woodland to try cover some distance and get to some more open woodland more suitable for camping.

After following the trail we dropped back into the woodland to stumble upon the camp spot with a fire pit ready to use so considering we were tired and hungry we decided this was the place to stay.

We gathered ourselves and started to unpack getting the fire lit first as we were hungry then let the fire burn in and setup our gear gonzo use his poncho tent as I used a tarp

Once we were set up we enjoyed some time sat enjoying nature around the fire gonzo also cooked up some corned beef hash and later on we fixed some packet noodles with an MRE veg curry and supped on some whiskey which gonzo kindly provided

After enjoying the night we headed to our setups and went to sleep It was a quiet night slightly breezy with the odd spit of rain.

Woke up, slight chill in the air so got the fire on and relaxed with some coffee For a few hours then it was time to pack up and hit the road home.
