Early February marks the beginning of the breeding season for the peregrine falcons at Salisbury Cathedral.
Over two days, increased aerial activity was observed above the spire, including vocalising, circling, and high-energy mid-air interaction consistent with early-season bonding and territorial behaviour.
A third peregrine was also present in the area during this period, suggesting heightened territorial pressure as the resident pair prepare for egg-laying in March.
