Black Representation In TV Shows... In media especially TV shows black people are represented pretty poorly in my opinion. Tropes like the "Black Best Friend Trope" & "Sassy Black Woman Trope" are poor ways to add diversity to shows. In this video we look back at some my favorite childhood shows (Danny Phantom, Total Drama Island, Good Luck Charlie, Victorious, I Carly) to analyze the black characters (Tucker Foley, Lashawna, Ivy, & T Bo) & see what tropes they fit under.
