This design is made from 3mm composite aluminium board. The geometry is sound but the drive system is woefully inadequate. There's just to much friction between the blades. I believe this can be overcome by adding very thin thrust bearings at the pivot points. This is not something I will be doing anytime soon so have decided to share the CAD data. If there's anyone out there who wants to have a go building something like this then please feel free to download files from link below.
