Every spring, we wait for bluefish to migrate north along the East Coast and chase them on the flats of Long Island, New York. This year, something extraordinary happened, thousands of large bluefish flooded the flats and surrounded our skiff.
From drone footage capturing the massive scale of this phenomenon to underwater shots of being surrounded by blues in just two feet of water, this was a once in a lifetime day on the water.
