The Mud Nymph’s Awakening

Then I stretched out in the shallow water, playful and glowing, her flower crown still perfect as the mud clung to every curve.

By the time I stood up again, covered and smiling, I looked less like a girl at the lake…
and more like a blooming nymph the mud itself had created.
