THOUSANDS PARTICIPATE IN CHILE'S GAY PRIDE PARADE
Thousands of people participated in the annual gay pride parade in the Chilean capital, Santiago, on Saturday (01 JULY 2017).
Revellers waved rainbow-colored flags and donned colorful costumes for the event.
One of the participants said he took part in the parade in the hope that Chile will soon follow in Germany's recent footsteps and will legalise gay marriage.
Gay marriage is legal in about twenty nations around the world.
