Karnataka Cyber Command Busts Fake Call Centre Targeting US Citizens

Описание: Karnataka Cyber Command has busted a fake call centre racket operating from Bengaluru that allegedly cheated citizens in the United States.

Two accused, identified as Prashanth and Akash, were arrested during coordinated raids at four locations. Police said the accused operated under the name “M/s QuickBook” and allegedly posed as representatives of a US-based accounting firm to scam victims through fake tax services, licence renewals, and counterfeit software keys.

Authorities seized laptops, CPUs, mobile phones, SSDs, and scripts used in the fraud operation. The investigation is ongoing.
