Japanese companies will often set their product's MSRP higher so that retailers can offer the products at a "discounted" rate; this gives customers the idea that they're getting a deal. For example, this Jonathan's MSRP + tax is 11,000 JPY, but realistically, customers are only paying ~ 9,500 JPY. This is the same for S.A.S. Jonathan; depending on the website, he can be found ~ 5,600 to 8,500 JPY. In summary, before import costs, S.H.Figuarts is ~ 60 USD, and S.A.S. is ~ 35 to 55 USD.
