Cast roller shaft in stainless steel 1.4851, roller body by centrifugal cast stainless steel 1.4848
This video is about the process when we test the roughness of the roller shafts.
The furnace rollers are customized for our europe customer, the general sizes are: outer diameter 160mm, overal length 3940mm.
The roller barrel is made by centrifugal casting tubes, with heat resistant stainless steel 1.4848, ASTM A351 HK40, the shafts are made by 1.4541 forgings.
The production process includes: casting, forging, machining, welding fabrication, balancing, dye penetrant test, and other NDT tests.
