The 1991 Winfield Australian Sprintcar Series – Grand Final from Parramatta City Raceway, featuring Heats 1–3. This video captures the opening heat races of the Grand Final as Australia’s top sprintcar drivers went head-to-head on the famous PCR clay in one of the biggest series finales of the era.
These early heats set the tone for the night, with intense competition, fast laps, and drivers fighting hard for points and track position as the championship battle unfolded.
This footage is not my original recording. It comes from one of the many VHS tapes I’ve been converting to digital to help preserve Australian speedway history. So many of these classic events were at risk of being lost forever, and I’m proud to bring them back so fans can relive these great moments.
