Описание: ▲ How to make a Star Wars inspired blaster with a painted wooden handle. I've been looking at Jyn Erso's blaster as inspiration for this cosplay prop though the community is pointing me towards this looking more like a Naboo S-5 heavy blaster pistol. And they're right! It does! Which is cool because it affirms to me this does look like something in universe.

I've been wanting to try the wood grain paint effect for a while and though I need a bit more practice, I think I got to something passable! If you want to see the Nerf blaster I started with, head over to my instagram.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan so it inevitably creeps into everything that I make from bookbinding, sci-fi props, cosplay and custom collectibles. I'm always tinkering with a new blaster or lightsaber or something to add to my Batuu Bounding outfit. Going to Galaxy's Edge was a huge inspiration and I can't wait to customize my own droid and wardrobe to be a bit more in universe, everyday.
