In this video, we teambuild around Lunala & Koraidon for the Regulation I format for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet VGC. Lunala has historically done well on sun teams with Groudon because of its ability to set Trick Room as well as provide Wide guard support for Pokemon like a Kyogre or even a Calyrex Ice Rider. Now, Lunala has a new partner in Koraidon and it's role is more or less the same. This is a rising pair because of its favorable matchup into Calyrex Shadow - Zamazenta teams. The partners include options like a Chi-Yu or a Flutter Mane that you can bring into many matchups. The variance comes after this with many opting for ideas like Brute Bonnet or Ursaluna for a stronger Trick Room mode or ideas like Indeedee for more terrain control and another redirection & Trick room support. Ditto is always interesting on these teams also since you can copy another restricted if the time comes.
