In this video, spoken in the Jarai language, Don Kpa shares his powerful life story as a member of the Montagnard people of Vietnam’s Central Highlands. He talks about his life in Vietnam, his work and faith in God, his involvement in a protest, and his escape to Cambodia. Don Kpa also describes his time living in a Montagnard refugee camp in Cambodia and explains how the United Nations and the United States helped Montagnard refugees resettle in America. This story offers an important perspective on the history, struggles, and resilience of the Montagnard community, also known as the Dega people.
