Welcome to the Excel VBA Objects Series. In this video we'll see the difference between objects and collections, and also how to reference a collection vs an object. Basically, objects of the same type form a collection. For example, the Workbooks collection contains all the Workbook objects in Excel. Furthermore, collections are actually objects themselves, and therefore, they have properties and methods too. We will see several examples of collections and their respective objects, and compare the list or properties and methods that apply to them. In the next video we'll see the difference between properties and methods, and dig into the structure to learn how to use them correctly.
The following videos in the series are going to focus on each of the most important Excel VBA objects individually. We will cover the Application object, the Workbook object, the Sheets and Worksheet objects, the WorksheetFunction object, the Range object, the Shape object, and the Chart object.
