Conservatory Prep Senior High School -- http://www.conservatoryprep.org -- is a fully accredited, college prep, private high school, located in Davie (near Fort Lauderdale), Broward County, Florida, which accepts students in grades 8 through 12.
CPSHS educates its students through an arts-integrated curriculum, meaning that incorporates the arts into every facet of its curriculum to aid its students in their learning approach.
For example, physics class had involved the study of comic book superheroes' powers to examine which powers were actually possible, and which were solely fiction. Students in history classes examine societies through the culture, song and dance. English and literature courses are taught with an eye on film-making and screenwriting. Latin, our foreign language of choice -- used to aid in preparation for college and entrance examinations -- incorporates mythology and drama. This innovative approach is what separates Conservatory Prep from the vast choice of private high schools located in South Florida.
