The iBMS - Connect with your Battery and take it to the next (safety) level!

Описание: Today we are having a look at the extraordinary iBMS, a small electronic board which takes over the communication to your inverter. It sits between the BMS and the inverter and acts as an additional safety layer for the BMS and battery. The iBMS is a successor of the legendary Peter-Board and comes now with a sh*t ton of features.

SOC Accuracy: the iBMS can now talk to a Victron Smart Shunt, in fact to several Smart Shunts if your batteries are in different locations. This gives you finally the best and most precise SOC for all your connected batteries. The best thing: you don't need to own a Victron System and it works with many popular inverter and BMS brands out there.

Higher Safety: The iBMS also monitors your BMS, reads all data from it and displays them on a neat website. In case something goes wrong, it reports this to the inverter, which will then slow down charging or even stop altogether. If your BMS is faulty or does not work correctly, the iBMS has you covered and will stop the inverter from charging or discharging.

New Features: Many new features have made it into the new iBMS. For example, the 'Slow Charge' where you can slow down charging at the end of the cycle to give the balancer more time to equalise the cells of your batterie. This is ideal for users with small passive balancers.
