Our client was at a wedding in Atlanta as someone was terribly harmed in a crime. But even though he was out of state at an event, he was still charged with the crime because the witness picked him out of a photo lineup. We quickly gathered any information we could to prove he was not in town during the crime. We were able to produce photo proof of the wedding, gas receipts, and an itinerary to show he was enjoying the wedding. The state prosecutors continued to push the case and only dropped it just before it went to judge and jury. We consistently see cases in which the wrong person is fingered for a crime and we have to fight to get justice for our client.
