At least five people were killed and more than five others critically injured in a horrific road accident on the Haldiapadar Chhak Over Bridge in Brahmapur on Friday afternoon around 1:00 pm. According to eyewitnesses, a high-speed truck coming from the Rang Site side rammed into several motorcycles, crushing them on the bridge. The victims died on the spot, while the injured were rushed to the medical college.
