An offering to Lord Muruga as fasting for Chittirai Paruvam (full moon) 2020 approaches. A small project brought to fruition by the gracious contribution of Veena Rajez Marday on the sacred Veena and the talented Anil Nallan Chakravarthy for music arrangement, effects, keyboard.
The Subrahmanya Karavalamba Stotram beseeches the protection and grace of Muruga by literally asking him to 'extend a hand of support'.
For the first time, temples will be closed and Chittirai Kaavadi will not be celebrated in Mauritius. But this is also a perfect moment and also a chance to spend 10 days in a very profound and spiritually significant manner. Absorbing knowledge, practicing Hatha Yoga and Pranayama, eating food cooked only in the home, minimal socialisation, full time dedicated to upliftment and raising conciousness.
