Galea Kills Pride: Bounty - Infernal Kahndaq

Описание: Tonight we're fighting Pride, one of the Seven Deadly Vices and a complete rotter to boot.

Pride is, as stated, one of the Seven Deadly Vices in the Shazam portion of DC Lore. Pride is also a 12 foot tall demon with killer staff attacks: we're going to focus mostly on that part of the trip.

Pride's main fighting style is Staff: this means Pride is susceptible to Counter game, but also means that Pride is very punishing at close range due to Staff's focused multi-hit combos. I recommend Counter if you're using a Tank (it can be very rewarding) and distance if you're not.

Pride does have multiple Ability attacks: none of which are a true one-shot but all of which are capable of killing you fairly quickly if you mishandle them. In no particular order:

Pride can summon tornadoes in the local area: these are persistent, slow-moving AOE damage zones that have a limited tracking capacity. As long as you stay away from them they're not very dangerous, but if you get pulled or knocked into one it does juggle you in place so be sure to Breakout and move immediately.

Pride also has a zone blast attack, similar to Raven from Gotham Wasteland or Giganta: it's highly telegraphed and not instantly fatal, just move before it fires.

Pride also has the Rush attack made famous by Murk and Mammoth: This is a highly-damaging attack that both interrupts whatever you're doing and displaces your current position. My advise is to dodge roll and get out of the path, because Pride can chain this Ability and it will kill you very quickly if you're not careful.

Pride also has a single-target pull: not by itself a dangerous thing, but something to watch out for considering all of the other dangerous things it can potentially drop you off inside of.

Finally, there are numerous Soulless Sentinels in the area, which are by themselves quite weak, but which can gum up the works (so to speak) very quickly so kill them quickly when they appear.

If you complete this Bounty, it's worth 8 marks and a Large Reward, and it does contribute to counter Feats for additional Skill Points. Delicious!
