I have had this metal detector for a couple of months trying to get it to work properly. I have watched all of the videos I can find on it and even contacted the company to see what I was missing. The issue I am having is that it just beeps all the time. I have tried different locations and even took it on vacation with me 250 miles away. I marked off a spot in my driveway and spent a couple of hours with two other metal detectors clearing out all metal. After all screws, nails and other random metal were removed, this Smart Hunter metal detector kept yapping like a Chihuahua on crack (I’m guessing. No dogs were harmed in the making of this review). It will detect metal sometimes but, it also will detect nothing a lot. A metal detector is supposed to be fun and easy, this is not. Too bad, I really wanted to like this product.
