Ibanez Model Numbers Explained!

Описание: Ibanez model numbers can be confusing, even for the fans that follow them. In this video I hope to answer some of the lingering questions you may have about how and why the model numbers work the way they do. Please keep in mind, I can't stress this enough, but there are far too many variations and exceptions for me to cover them all in a single video. This will give you a good basis to work with, highlighting some of the more common combinations that you're likely to come across. Hopefully it will help you to find that specific model you've always been searching for. Or at the very least, have a better understanding of what all those numbers and letters mean.

**EDIT: It's been brought to my attention that there was indeed a RGR620 model available around '95 & '96, however they seem to have been limited to the Japanese market, and possibly one model available in Europe, for just a year or two. I'll file this under the limited/spot run category, of which there are plenty. I don't have exact numbers but these may be even more rare than the RG565 mentioned in the video, which was at least available worldwide. Considering that for 90% of the world the 620 didn't exist (remember this was before you could just hop online and order anything from anywhere) I'll stand by my original statement. In regards to the 7620, the RGR620 shared more in common with the 700 series than it did the 500 series, so it still doesn't explain any thought process behind changing the model number of the 7620 as mentioned in the video.
