Описание: Tommy Robinson’s Unite the Kingdom march and a pro-Palestine Nakba Day rally brought large crowds onto the streets of central London as two rival protests took place on the same day.

Thousands gathered across the capital, with Robinson’s march moving through central London while pro-Palestine protesters marked Nakba Day and called attention to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The Metropolitan Police deployed around 4,000 officers in a major public order operation, using specialist resources including drones, horses, dogs and helicopters as officers worked to keep the groups apart.

Dozens of arrests were made as rival protests filled London streets during one of the capital’s busiest protest days in recent years.
