India Slams Pakistan at UNSC, Announces Major Hospital Projects in Kabul & Calls for Taliban Reset

Описание: India delivered a powerful message at the United Nations Security Council as Ambassador Harish Parvathaneni exposed Pakistan’s “trade and transit terrorism” against Afghanistan, calling out Islamabad’s cynical closure of access routes for a land-locked nation already struggling for survival. India also strongly condemned the deadly airstrikes that killed innocent Afghan women, children and even cricketers — a rare, direct diplomatic rebuke delivered on a global stage.

At the same time, India unveiled one of its largest humanitarian expansions in Afghanistan. New Delhi will construct a 30-bed hospital in Kabul’s Bagrami district, a full Oncology Centre, a Trauma Centre, and five new Maternity Health Clinics — a major boost to Afghanistan’s collapsing healthcare system. India also reaffirmed ongoing work on diagnostic centres, child health facilities and ambulance support.

Crucially, India called for a “pragmatic engagement with the Taliban”, stating that the international community must incentivise positive actions rather than rely only on punitive measures.

This is India’s clearest, boldest Afghanistan stance in years — mixing hard diplomacy with strong humanitarian commitment.
