Not Alone- A Short Horror Film

Описание: Thanks for watching my short horror film! This whole experience has been amazing for me along with my actor and best friend Nic. I haven't submitted this student short film to any film festivals yet because nothing I know of is going on right now so If you know of any student film festivals going on right now, let me know in the comments. I originally 3 months ago was going to make a funny comedy short film but decided not too just so people see me as more serious and that the work I do is professional. I'll looked at some horror films, award winning student short films and just about every short film you can think of and when i heard some of the horror sound tracks you hear in my film, it just gave me inspiration. Speaking of inspiration AdrewProductionsTv is my complete inspiration because he is only 17 and he has made all kinds of short films from horror short films, to comedy short films but in the end I truly respect and honour him for all the work and effort he puts into making videos. This short horror film is a very scary short film in my opinion, all I wanted to do was make the hairs on your neck stand up or make you feel uncomfortable; I didn't actually expect anyone to scream when the demon came out. I aspire to one day make an award winning short film one day but I think for a while I'll steer away from making them less serious and more funny. So this is the process I went through into making this: First, me and my friend Ethan went location scouting in the summer ON the railroad tracks to which we found an abandoned shed. I then put the abandoned shed into use and thought " this could be in a really creepy video" so I researched some horror music and found some and It was all coming together. I researched short horror films before hand to see what interested me and made the plot of the film. This was the big part. I needed to have a sense of idea what shots I want by going to the actual place to that I wanted to shoot, only problem was I din't know where I wanted to shoot. SO me and Nic ran around our city finding places we thought were suitable and writing down where they were and what was the easiest route of getting there. This took a lot of literal painful hours because we had to go through thorn bushes to get to some places. I then wrote the script (which was just camera shots and locations) which took about a week and a half because it had to be made into perfection! Now we worked on filming. If you follow me on instagram you would know exactly when I filmed because I always post updates and filming was probably spread out into a month and a half. Finally editing was the easiest part. Because filming was so spread out because we had to film outside and it would rain a ton (and the scene called for sun) I had lots of time to edit the scenes that we had just filmed and put them to perfection before filming our next scene. By the time we had filmed ALL the scenes I sat down for 10 hours or so and put everything to perfection! Then that leaves us here.... this long journey for me has left me writing in the description of this film. For you it's 5 minutes of "meh" but for me these are the best memories of my life.
