n Friday 24 October, our entire Kirklees College community came together for a powerful Learning and Development Day centred on inclusion, reflection and shared growth. As we continue to honour over 200 years of technical education, our values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence remain at the heart of everything we do.
From inspiring keynotes by Dr Lou Mycroft FRSA and Kheron Gilpin, to celebrating our long-serving colleagues and taking time to reconnect with our purpose, the day was filled with energy, insight and togetherness. With over 530 staff attending, feedback showed that more than 90% found the day valuable, engaging and full of practical takeaways.
