Been meaning to do this video for a while. I finished work early and took off on my e-bike to film a little piece of my local history. The Portsea Island route of the old Portsmouth and Arundel canal, a ship canal that went out of use in the 1840's.
Only two sections of the 2.8 mile long canal are still visible today, with most of it buried under busy roads and houses. But I manage to follow more or less the exact route it took though the Island City.
