Sometimes in life I just need to get away. I become restless, agitated and something inside pushes me to get out of my normal environment, to seek out a place that offers me something different. I never know what is is that I am seeking but I know I will know it when I find it. It becomes almost compulsive, something I cannot ignore.
I never know where it will lead me, sometimes I find somewhere fantastic, often I find places that are interesting, sometimes I am a little disappointed but whatever I find...I almost always feel better for the experience.
Somehow travelling to and exploring new places enables me to "reset" myself. Doing the same things in the normal places over and over again seems to build up some sort of pressure within me and it feels as though I need this "Nomadic Release" or I may blow a gasket :)
This is why I travel.
If you understand what I mean you may well understand what I do.
