Nir Yaniv's animated album, "The Voice Remains", is a conceptual journey across time and space. It is a vocal and drums album, featuring no other instruments: the "bass", "guitar" and "keyboards" you hear are in fact Nir's voice. The drums were played by Karen Teperberg.

The album won the Sound & Vision award at the LifeArt International Festival 2020 among the competition from Europe, America, Africa, Australia, Middle East, and the Far East, including the movies with superstars such as Gerard Butler, Vin Diesel and popular Netflix series such as Emily in Paris and Fauda.

"The Voice Remains" is a conceptual journey crossing over the boundaries of world music, funk and psychedelia in a unifying soundtrack for an animated science fiction film. Nir's quirky sense of humor and alternative visions of the future are present in every song. If the famous fictional space-traveler Barbarella and Durand-Durand were throwing a party beyond the stars, this would be a perfect score to entertain their outer space guests.

Nonetheless, the music is the original motion picture soundtrack for the award-winning short film in the real world, right here on Earth! "The Voice Remains" won the title of the best animated short film at the Paris Independent Film Festival, and it is the winner of the Best Score at the Genre Celebration Festival in Tokyo.
