Why Indians rely too much on God?
👉 Literature can challenge blind faith.
In India, we often associate every life lesson with God, but in the process, we forget to apply that wisdom in real life. 📚✨ Our culture is full of faith and spirituality, but sometimes blind faith takes over, and we end up waiting for miracles instead of using the knowledge already available to us.
In this video, I share my reflections on how Indians sometimes focus more on devotion than on progress, and why we need to look at books—even novels like To Kill a Mockingbird—as powerful sources of wisdom. These stories are not just entertainment; they carry life lessons about justice, courage, and empathy that we can apply in our everyday lives.
Instead of only repeating, “Bhagwan sab karenge,” maybe it’s time to read, reflect, and act on the wisdom already around us, because, ‘BHAGWAN NAHI AAYENGE BACHAANE’!

Faith and devotion are beautiful, but they should not stop us from thinking deeply or learning from the world around us. True spirituality means being awake, mindful, and ready to grow. Books give us that opportunity. They remind us that wisdom is not just found in temples—it’s also found in stories, novels, and even the voices of authors who dared to question society.
When we limit ourselves to only religious texts, we unknowingly close the door to this wider world of wisdom. A novel like To Kill a Mockingbird shows us injustice and empathy in ways that feel real and relatable. These lessons are just as important for an Indian mindset as any spiritual teaching.
The idea is not to abandon faith, but to balance it with awareness.
God may inspire us, but wisdom helps us act. Progress doesn’t happen by waiting—it happens when we take responsibility, guided by the insights we gather from books, reflection, and mindful living.
If you’re curious about how literature can shape the way we think, and why Indians should read more widely to grow as individuals and as a society, this video is for you. Let’s not just worship wisdom—let’s apply it.
