Keeping your party member's levels low in Final Fantasy 8 Remastered can be useful for a variety or reasons, but that doesn't mean you can't level your Guardian Forces! In this video I show you how you can do just that. The main point for me was to learn Ammo-RF on Ifrit (which doesn't become available on him until he is level 10), so that we can get the Lionheart ultimate weapon on disk one. However, you can level your GFs using this method to as high as you want while not affecting the levels of your party.

Sadly it only works for the first three GFs, since that is all that are available by this point in the game.

General low level party tips:
1. Use high level magics such as Tornado and -aga spells for junctioning to stats.
2. Card Mod and Refinement abilities can be used to get high level magics early on (see my other guides).
3. Use the Card ability to kill enemies, collecting items and AP from them but not Experience.
