Описание: We hear a lot about the links between corpus callosum disorders and autism.
Listen to leading global researcher, Professor Elliott Sherr from UCSF who explains these links and more about disorders of the corpus callosum (DCC). Professor Sherr was the doctor treating Kim Peek, The Real Rain Man. Kim Peek had ACC.
Prof Sherr is followed by the CEO of AMAZE Victoria, Fiona Sharkie, who gives a presentation on autism in Australia.
Penny Robinson is an autistic adult who is an ambassador for Yellow Ladybugs and the ICAN Network as well as a lecturer at Monash University, Victoria.
Research has shown that almost a third of people in a study with ACC met the testing criteria for autism. Learn more about that on this video.
