Secretary of State Steve Hobbs is pushing back against an unlawful request from the Department of Justice (DOJ) for protected voter information. What's more, he's reminding everyone that our state laws to protect the integrity of our voter roll and the privacy of our voters are stricter than the federal National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) and Help America Vote Act (HAVA).
Secretary Hobbs is committed to upholding state and federal laws and ensuring that Washington's election systems remain secure and trustworthy.
