Lesson 20 - 3rd INTERVALS progression (in the key of G major)

Описание: In this lesson we are going to work on a melodic progression which is probably THE MOST IMPORTANT GUITAR EXERCISE among the fundamental technique ones: the THIRD INTERVALS inside of the MAJOR SCALES. A real MUST KNOW!! Any intermediate through advanced guitar player should learn and master this exercise perfectly, and be able to play it in any key, at slow or faster tempos!

We are going to understand how the progression works, and try it on the 5 positions of the MAJOR SCALES in the CAGED SYSTEM, in the key of G major (which we have just been reviewing in the previous lessons 19).
In the first part of the lesson we are going to work slowly, watching my guitar from above, the best perspective to visualize the patterns and the fingerings, because it's the same point of view you look at your own fretboard from.
In the second part of the lesson we are going to speed up the exercise, working again on each one of the 5 boxes at a faster tempo, together with my student GIGI!
