Spotted at the intersection of N Clark St & W Howard St in Chicago, facing north on Clark. The uncovered light was a bright white, though it didn't come across great in the footage.
I didn't realize those covers were on hinges like doors. It makes sense from a maintenance perspective, but I never thought about stoplight construction before.
