Every single winter since 2001, a different version of the ice hotel is built somewhere around Quebec City. Now located in Village Vacance Valcartier the ice hotel has 24 ice rooms, an ice chapel, an ice bar and lounge, a Nordic experience with spas and saunas and tones of breathtaking ice sculptures everywhere you look! This Ice Hotel is the only one in North America and there is less than 20 around the world. The original one is the Ice Hotel in Switzerland just 125 km from the artic circle.

Sleeping on an ice bed inside and ice room is no small challenge. Therefor they fully prepare you with a lot of great information and a warm winter sleeping bag to make sure you can safely make it through the night and live the full Ice Hotel experience. And don't worry, if for some reason you can't get warm, your booking comes with a second regular hotel room inside the Village Vacance Valcartier Hotel less than 100m away from the Ice Hotel.
