Ilona Airikkala-Otter studied for the MSc Livestock Health and Production through the University of London International Programmes, with academic direction from the Royal Veterinary College. India-based Ilona particularly enjoyed that the course had modules focusing on developing countries as it gave her the knowledge provide better teaching in her role at the Worldwide Veterinary Service International Training Center (WVS ITC) in Ooty, India. She also speaks about how the course gave her the flexibility to balance study with raising a family, working and living in rural India.
