It’s been a bad week for music, so here’s a couple tributes. We lost Killing Joke guitarist Geordie Walker earlier this week, so the first track is from their fifth studio album, 1985’s “Night Time.” Nirvana ripped it off for their massive 1992 hit “Come as You Are.” Hacks. Anyway, Geordie recorded 15 studio albums with Killing Joke as well as working with the Murder, Inc. supergroup. He tuned his guitar unusually low so that it sounds like a louder, sharper bass guitar (he played bass too); it’s a cool sound.
