Living gently with young children doesn’t mean life is easy, quiet, or free from pressure.
In this episode, I’m sharing what I’m learning about choosing a gentler, slower way of living with a toddler.
For us, living gently has often meant:
– Choosing a slower pace
– Letting our days be more home-centred
– Continuing adult life at a gentler rhythm rather than trying to keep up with constant productivity
– Allowing our toddler to shape the speed of our days
This isn’t the only way to live well with young children.
Different families make different choices, under different pressures, in different seasons.
I’m simply sharing what I’m noticing, unlearning, and returning to — as we try to live in a way that feels steadier and more connected for us.
