After this mare tragically lost her own baby, she unexpectedly became a mum to a young foal who needed a mother.
Iris Pinkster, 30, and Sanne Kolman, 22, both from the Netherlands, are owners of Equitality.
On April 28, one of Equitality’s horses, named Citty z, lost her foal due to placentitis.
The mare was heartbroken by the loss, but just three days later she was introduced to her new foster foal.
